Comprehensive evaluations for articulation, language, literacy and social communication difficulties are available. Evaluations typically take 1-5 hours to complete and generally include a parent/caregiver interview, standardized assessments, and informal assessment measures. The purpose of an evaluation is to obtain a clear picture of what your child is able to do well, what they are having difficulty with and how it impacts their ability to function in everyday life. You will be provided with a report following the evaluation outlining the results of the evaluation, treatment recommendations and potential goals for treatment as appropriate.
At Communication Station, we begin your child's therapy journey by creating treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. We warmly welcome parents and caregivers to actively contribute to goal-setting, and your involvement in therapy sessions is highly encouraged. Additionally, we offer parent and caregiver training as part of our comprehensive approach to support your child's progress.
